Proposal Summary
To enable portability of complex biomedical workflows across different clouds and on-premise environments via better documentation, community support, and tooling for Common Workflow Language (CWL) with examples using Arvados and from the Personal Genome Project.
Common Workflow Language (CWL)
Common Workflow Language (CWL) is an essential technology for describing biomedical analysis workflows used by many organizations. Embracing CWL as a workflow standard enables reproducible research. This ensures that scientific work can be understood, independently verified, and built upon in future work.
