To provide an efficient neuroimage analysis pipeline for the medical imaging communities by consolidating advanced DL-methods into a single user-friendly, maintainable, open source software framework.
FastSurfer
Non-invasive neuroimage analysis has become a general tool to respond to societal challenges: early detection of disease, evaluation of therapeutic efficacy, identification of risk and protective factors for neurodegeneration, among others. This project will extend existing open source software through an efficient deep-learning approach (FastSurfer) to significantly speed up processing as well as reduce the carbon footprint of neuroimage analysis in large cohort studies.
