To provide dedicated community support and maintenance for the Dask project and support growth in the biological sciences field.
Dask
Dask is a widely used open source Python library that parallelizes the existing Scientific Python stack. It is used both inside and outside of the biological sciences. It uses existing Python APIs and data structures to make it easy to switch between Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-learn to their Dask-powered equivalents.
