With 9 years of experience at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Meagan worked in grants operations and project management for science programs. She designed and executed open calls for grant applications, developed grant policies, managed active grants across several portfolios, and helped build operational infrastructure for the broader science team. Prior to CZI, Meagan worked at the U.S. Geological Survey, contributing to research in soil and water biogeochemistry. Trained as an earth and environmental scientist, Meagan brings a strong blend of scientific expertise, operational experience, and cross-functional project management to the role of Operations Lead. She holds a B.S. from Cornell University and a M.S. from the University of California, Davis.
